2002-2005:  Trainer at Wadsworth Farm, Danvers, Mass

1986-2007: Freelance dressage instruction in western Mass

1986-1994:  Director of Riding at the University of Massachusetts

1990:  "R" Dressage Judge's License

1982-1986:  Freelance instruction in dressage and combined training in central Mass

1983: "r" Judge's License

1980-1982:  working student for Kathy Connelly in Boxboro, Mass at Windreach Farm

1978-1979:  assistant riding instructor at Univ. of Mass

1979:  Bachelor of Science in Animal Science at Univ. of Mass.

Since 1980, Sandy has been a strong presence inside the competition arena, initially in both dressage and combined training, eventually focusing only on dressage.  She has qualified many horses of all breeds for various regional and national year end awards. 

2010:  successfully trained and competed Danielle Federa’s Dutch gelding Plato Carlos to the Grand Prix level in region 3.

2009:   Region 3 Intermediaire II Champion with Plato Carlos Achieved 4th place in the national rankings with Plato Carlos at Intermediaire II with a median score of 67%

2006:  Grand Prix with Milestone including several placings of 1st - 3rd.  Some highlights include:

            NEDA spring dressage show - 1st place in the GP with a score of 66.67%

            Green Mountain Horse Association dressage show - 1st place in the GP with a score of 67.5%

            King Oak Farm Dressage Days - 1st place in FEI TOC with 65%

Sandy and Miles completed their first year at GP with an overall 3rd place in the NEDA year end standings and a top 12 finish in the GP at Dressage at Devon, qualifying for the Freestyle as well.

In 2004, Sandy qualified two horses, her own Milestone as well as Jacqueline Stromquist's Dutch warmblood, Halloween, for the region 8 finals in Prix St. Georges and Intermediare I.  She and Miles made their first appearance at Devon in the small tour.

In 2003 Sandy and Milestone were NEDA Champions at 4th Level.
